Gary E. Jackson

Gary E. Jackson, 74, of Granby, NY, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Hospital with family by his side. Born in Johnson City, he was a son to late Eugene and Arlene Jackson. Gary loved spending time with family and friends, running dozers, cruising in his ’31 Ford Hot Rod and ’61 Dodge. He enjoyed listening to The Who and watching the Three Stooges. Gary was predeceased by his sister, Bonnie (Jackson) Parrow; brothers, Zachary and Matt Jackson.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Penny Jackson; son, Justin Jackson; siblings, Fred (Sharon) Jackson, Loretta (Paul) Gorman, Susan Hunsinger, Edward (Lisa) Jackson, Joseph (Dee) Jackson, and Wendy (Chuck) Jorgensen; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Friday, August 30th at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, 1254 County Route 3, Hannibal. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
