Obituary of Fred A. Dievendorf December 20, 2015 Fred A. Dievendorf, 79, of Fulton, passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He enjoyed being with his family and cherished his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Fred loved being outdoors working on his yard and was an avid sports enthusiast. He loved hunting, fishing and basketball and enjoyed spending winters in Florida. Fred retired from General Electric after 37 years and served in the U.S. Army and Reserves from 1956-1962. Fred is survived by his devoted wife and best friend Carol of 57 years; his three sons, Fred Jr. (Cindi), Michael (Rose), and Tim; his daughter, Beth (Garrett) Kellogg; his eight grandchildren, Erin, Sarah, Mandy, Megan, Tyler, Garrett, Josh and Victoria; his two great grandchildren, Noah and Hunter; his brothers, Paul and R. Lee Dievendorf. Fred was predeceased by beloved grandson Zachary, his parents and his five sisters. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 28 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 29 at St. Stephen’s Church, corner of Main and Bridge Streets, Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Make-A-Wish CNY.
