Dr. David Stuber, 67 of Fulton, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Fulton to Dr. Leon and Jacqueline Stuber and was a graduate of G. Ray Bodley High School in 1975. David was a graduate from Clemson University in South Carolina and received his B.S. degree in chemistry. He continued his education by earning a B.S. degree in human biology and Doctor of Chiropractic from National College of Chiropractic in Illinois. His love for chiropractic healing led him to open his own practice in Fulton, NY.
David was an avid sports enthusiast. He played varsity baseball and basketball in high school and baseball while attending Clemson University. Upon returning home to Fulton, he was active in the local men’s softball and hockey leagues and as a referee for women’s softball. His favorite baseball team was the Boston Red Sox and he enjoyed watching them beat the Yankees. He was also a cat lover and over the years had three precious cats that were like family to him, Miss Kitty, Little One and Little Guy.
He is survived by his mother, Jacqueline Stuber of Fulton; two sisters, Vicki Long of Fulton and Diana Bevacqua of California; a niece, Mariah Bevacqua-Stevens, a great-nephew, Ryder and great-niece Brooklyn, all of California; aunt and uncle, Kathy and Mike Popinski; cousins, Bob Popinski and Laura Lawrence all of Texas; cousins Jim, Johnny, Ronnie and Steve Sotherden, all of Florida and Bonnie Starner of Missouri. David was predeceased by his father, Dr. Leon Stuber and two sisters, Pamela Ann and Linda.
David’s ashes will be spread on the Oswego River at the family home. A private family viewing was held at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. In lieu of flowers, contributions in David’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org or the ASPCA at aspca.org (memorial donations).
