Obituary of Dorothy M. Burdick August 22, 2014 Dorothy M. Burdick, 80, of Fulton, passed away peacefully with family by her side after an extended battle with cancer. She was born April 1, 1934 in Syracuse and lived most of her life in Fulton. Dorothy graduated from Hannibal High School in 1951. Her proudest joy and love in life were her children and grandchildren as well as her work with the elderly. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband in 2011 after 50 years of marriage. She is survived by her children, Brenda (Gary) Weaver of Indiana, David Morrell, Mark (Denise) Burdick, Edward “Chip” Burdick all of Fulton, Steven Morrell of Syracuse and Deborah (Brian) Thompson of Charleston, SC; step-daughters, Sharon Baker of Minetto, Sandra Bradford of Oswego and Jackie Burdick of North Carolina; seven granddaughters; two grandsons; three great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; sister, Joan Proudfood; nephew, Victor Agresti of Syracuse. Calling hours are 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2014 with a service to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. Memorial contributions in memory of Dorothy may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation or to Kingdom Hall.
