Obituary of Donald W. Charbonneau May 13, 2015 Donald W. “Charby” Charbonneau, 69, of Webster and formerly of Fulton, passed away on Wednesday, May 13 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a brief illness. A native of Boonville, Charby had resided in Fulton since 1972. He was an Archway Cookie distributor throughout Oswego County from 1973 – 2000 before becoming disabled. Charby had previously worked as an Arnold Bread distributor and as manager of the Grand Union Grocery Store in Phoenix. He was a graduate of S.U.N.Y. at Cobleskill with an associate’s degree. Charby was a communicant of the former Holy Family Catholic Church in Fulton. He was a past president of the Fulton Lions Club where he received the Melvin Jones Award for community service and helped create some of the club’s prominent fund raisers. He was also a member of the B.P.O.E. Lodge in Boonville and Emerald Crest Golf Course in Palermo. Charby was predeceased by his parents, Douglas and Norma Charbonneau of Boonville. Surviving are: his wife of 47 years, Patricia A. Charbonneau of Webster; a daughter, Lisa (Michael) LaLoggia of Webster; two grandsons, Justin and Anthony “AJ” LaLoggia of Webster; a sister, Marlene (Ray) Barnes of Wake Forest, NC; a brother, Duane (Lorraine) Charbonneau of Cincinnati, OH and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours are from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 17 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street in Fulton with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated 12 noon Monday, May 18 at Holy Trinity Church, corner of Buffalo and South Third Streets, Fulton.
