Obituary of Dawson L. Hayden May 14, 2016 Dawson L. Hayden, 71, of Fulton, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, May 14 at the V. A. Medical Center in Syracuse surrounded by his loving family. A 1965 graduate of Fulton High School, he was on the varsity football and track teams and a state finalist for varsity wrestling. Dawson had worked at Nestle Company in Fulton for 38 years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Dawson was an avid sports enthusiast; hunter, fisherman and he enjoyed feeding wildlife. He loved and was loved by his children and grandchildren with whom he spent much time. He was the son of the late, Bernard and Margarete Hayden and was predeceased by a brother, Bernard Hayden Jr. and brother-in-law, Walter Howard Jr. Surviving are his wife, Linda Burlingham Hayden of Fulton; children, Becky (Andrew) Crisafulli and William Hayden, all of Fulton; grandchildren, Mackenzie Hayden and Alexander Crisafulli; siblings, Helen (Richard) Dennison; Daryl (Sharon) Hayden; Cheryl (Bruce) Ingersoll; Dolores Howard; Russell (Kathleen) Hayden; Debra and Teresa Hayden, all of Fulton; sister-in-law, Martha Hayden of Fulton; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 18 at Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 910 Fay Street in Fulton. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Thursday, May 19 at the funeral home with burial and military honors at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, East Broadway, Fulton.
