Obituary of Cora Smith Schmeer Lindsley July 11, 2014 Cora Smith Schmeer Lindsley, 83, of Fulton, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 11. She was the daughter of the late, Leon and Lillian Smith. Cora was a homemaker and enjoyed travelling and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Lindsley and by a son, Charles Schmeer. Surviving are her children, Peter Schmeer (Cindy) of Albany, Christine Dow (Julian) of Fulton, Scott Schmeer (Vivian) of Fulton, Sabbatha Borden (Jim Wardhaugh) of Fulton and John Demus (Connie) of FL, companion and care giver, Gary Coles of Fulton; siblings, Norman, James, Leon and Patrick Smith and Marion Arcadi all of Fulton and Jane Rawson of Mexico as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 16 at St, Mary’s Cemetery, South Seventh Street in Fulton. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton has care of the arrangements.
