Cheri L. Welling

Obituary of Cheri L. Welling July 1, 2016 Cheri L. Welling, 68, of Hannibal, passed away on Friday, July 1 at home surrounded by her family. She had worked as a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Oswego for many years. She was a member of the Elks Lodge #271 Auxiliary in Oswego. Cheri enjoyed making wedding cakes and crafts, camping, watching NASCAR races and golf. She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Ethel Belson Donaldson and siblings, Arthur and James Donaldson and Ethel Mae Kenyon. Surviving are her husband of over 48 years, Edward Welling of Hannibal; two sons, Todd (Meghan) and Troy (Renae) Welling all of Hannibal; grandchildren, Zachary, Nathan, Nicholas, Benjamin, Calista, Mason and Wyatt Welling; a sister, Deanna (Ronald) Scott of Hannibal and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours are 12 noon to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5 at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street, Hannibal with a graveside ceremony to follow at Hannibal Village Cemetery.
