Obituary of Charlotte L. Burton Charlotte L. Burton, 88, of Palermo passed away peacefully with her daughter and granddaughter at her side. She died in the home that she and her late husband, Raymond H. Burton, built, and where he also passed in 2006. Charlotte was the only daughter of the late Milton R. and Minnie E. Blodgett. She retired from Oswego County BOCES after 20 years of service. In addition to spending time home reading, Charlotte enjoyed knitting, crocheting and taking care of her pets. Above all, Charlotte was devoted to her family. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers-in-law, Ronald Burton and Ralph Schmidt. Charlotte will be greatly missed by her daughter, Lynn (Roger) Dunsmoor; granddaughter, Hannah Dunsmoor; grandson, Joshua (Nicole) Dunsmoor; great-grandchildren, Maria, Annabella and Sophia Dunsmoor; sisters-in-law, Madelyn Schmidt and Sylvia Burton; brothers-in-law, Robert Kemp and Ronald (Liz) Kemp and her loyal cat, Pumpkin. Although a quiet person, Charlotte was a strong woman that fought both heart disease and cancer, twice. In respect to her wishes, there will be a private family service with no calling hours.
