Charles T. Sykes

Obituary of Charles T. Sykes Charles T. Sykes, 79, of Syracuse, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Rome Hospital. He was born in 1940, in Lenox, a son to the late Bernard and Theresa Bruno Sykes. Chuck retired from UPS and Syracuse Waterboard after several years of service. He enjoyed many things in life including, the outdoors, running, Onondaga Lake Parkway and Green Lakes. Chuck is predeceased by his brother, Bernard “Bunny” Sykes and granddaughter, Ashley Sykes. He is survived by his three children, Michael (Rhonda Crymer) Sykes of Central Square, Thomas Sykes of Fulton and Beth (John) Torrese of Fulton; six grandchildren, Christopher, Anthony, Rachel, Thomas, Chayton and Shayla; three great-grandchildren, Ian, Giovanni and Brooklyn; three sisters, Mary, Paula and Elizabeth; two brothers, John and Tom as well as several nieces and nephews. All services will be held privately. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton, has care of arrangements.
