Carolyn Warner, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 97 in Oswego, NY. She was born February 3, 1926, to Charles and Pearl Thompson. Carolyn was predeceased by her loving husband, Parke C. Warner, her twin sister, Marilyn Putnam, and her brothers, Robert, Richard, Willis, Albert, and Gordon.
Carolyn’s life was marked by dedication, humility, and compassion, both in her personal relationships and professional career. She retired from Michaud Nursing Home after 10 years of serving as Activities Director. Her compassionate and caring nature brought immeasurable joy to the lives of countless residents. She was a long time member of State Street United Methodist Church and in later years attended Northside Baptist Church in Liverpool. Carolyn had an unwavering faith in God that was a guide to her life. Her love for family and friends, dedication to work, and thoughtfulness for others will always be remembered.
Carolyn’s memory will be forever cherished by her son, Parke Richard Warner of Fulton, her daughters, Linda (Jeff) Auser of Rochester, NY, and Laura Warner of FL. She was also blessed with five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who will forever hold her dear in their hearts.
Family and friends are invited to gather and pay their respects during calling hours, which will be held at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, on Friday, January 5th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be in Mt. Adnah Cemetery.
