Caroline E. Farrands

Caroline E. Farrands, 84 of Fulton died early morning on March 3, 2025 after an extended illness. Caroline was born in Patchogue, New York to Daniel B. Satterley and Edna M. (Rate) Satterley. She moved to Fulton in 1976 when her husband, Richard took a teaching position in the Fulton school district as an art teacher.

Caroline worked and retired after many years as an LPN at Michaud Residential Health Services in Fulton.

She enjoyed sharing dinners and playing cards with her Michigan Rummy girls, playing games on her cell phone, and talking and laughing with her niece Penny and her dear friend Rose.

A loving mother of five, she is survived by her children, Richard E. (Sandra) Farrands, Jr., Scott (Denise Burnett) Farrands, William C. (Sandra) Farrands, Sr., and Dana (Christopher) Boshnack, 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Caroline was predeceased by her husband of 56 years Richard E. Farrands, Sr., her son Daniel B. Farrands, siblings; Edna C. Warner, Hattie M. Staudt, Daniel B. Satterley, and Jean A. Farrands.

There will be a calling hour for friends and family on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 10 to 11 AM at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, NY 13069 with a service to follow at 11 AM. Burial will be at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Cemetery in Baldwinsville, N.Y. immediately following.
