Obituary of Carol Finter Fleming September 4, 2015 Carol Finter Fleming, 82, of Stroudsburg, PA, formerly of Fulton, NY, died on Friday, September 4, while under hospice care at home. Born in Fulton to the late Charles and Eliza Hubbard Finter, Carol had resided in Monroe County, PA since 1970. Carol retired as branch manager from Northeast Penn AAA in 2000 and was a former member of the Pocono Mountains Chamber of Commerce. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert T. Fleming, in 2008 and by her brother, Lt. Colonel George Finter, who died in Vietnam. Surviving: a son, Timothy Fleming and his fiancée, Denise Hayes of Stroudsburg, PA; a stepson, Robert Fleming of Portland, PA; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., with a service to follow Saturday, September 12 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. Burial will be at Peck Cemetery, Co. Rte. 4, Scriba.
