Obituary of Brian B. Samson December 10, 2015 Brian B. Samson, 71, of Fulton, passed away on Thursday, December 10 at University Hospital in Syracuse. He was a life resident of the Fulton and Minetto area. Brian retired in 1999 from Laborer’s Local #214 in Oswego after 33 years working at many construction projects. He had previously worked at General Electric in Liverpool. Brian served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves from 1965 to 1975. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Minetto and The Church of the Immaculate Conception (Holy Trinity) in Fulton. Brian especially enjoyed being with his family and grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Elke Samson of Fulton; children, Monica (Kevin) Gorney of Hannibal, Anita (Ernest) Terpening of Hannibal, David (Lisa) Tice of Fulton, Brian (Rebecca) Tice of Fulton, Kelly (Chad) O’Shaughnessy of Fulton and Patrick (Leah) Samson of Sterling; grandchildren, Andrew (Sondra), Richard, Kathryn, Erin, Brandon, Julia, Emily, Lauren, Matthew, Lila, Avery and Kai; great-grandchildren, Cooper and Kylie; siblings, Joanne Bracy Dirk, Margaret (Al) Foraker, George Roland (Betty) Samson, Honore (Bill) Lyons and Michele (John) Parrish; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant daughter, Lorri; parents, George and Evelyn Samson; siblings, Mary Evelyn Caprin, John Samson, Francis Samson, Deborah Rupert, Thomas Samson and Robert Samson. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 15 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16 at Holy Trinity Church, corner of Rochester and South Third Streets in Fulton with U.S. Marine Corps military honors. Memorials are encouraged to the American Lung Association, 1595 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620.
