Obituary of Brian C. Keeler June 5, 2016 Brian C. Keeler, Sr., 72, of Fulton died Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Oswego Hospital. He was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and lived there for several years where he was an 18 year member of the Canadian Coast Guard Search and Rescue Auxiliary. In 1990, Brian moved to Whitney Point, New York. While in Whitney Point, Brian was a volunteer firefighter and ambulance driver with the Whitney Point Fire Department. In 1996, Brian moved to Virginia Beach. While in Virginia Beach, he was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary for 5 years. In 2008, Brian relocated to Fulton. He was predeceased by wife, Ruth “Suzy” Keeler, who died February 4, 2011. Brian is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Wilson of Kitley, Onatario, Canada; a son, Brian C. Keeler, Jr. of Barrie, Ontario, Canada; two step daughters, Laura Chatfield Evans of Binghamton and Brenda Slavin of Maryland; three step sons, Henry “Buddy” Chatfield, Jr. of Fulton, Lewis Brown Florida and Jason Brown Oklahoma; two brothers, Alan (Pam) Keeler of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada and Randy (Lynn) Keeler of Ponty Pool, Ontario, Canada; ten grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
