Brenda "Nanner" Roney

Obituary of Brenda Roney August 27, 2016 Brenda “Nanner” Roney, 82 of Oswego passed away on Saturday after a brief illness. She was born in England and then moved to Oswego in the mid 1950’s. Nanner enjoyed knitting, crossword books and tea; but her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Nora Sands. Brenda will be greatly missed by her daughters, Pattie (Anselm) Martin and Michele (David) Snyder; two sisters, June Roney of Skaneateles and Sheelagh Sharp of Scotland; a brother, Robert Sands of New Zealand; a sister-in-law and best friend, Nancy Bonito of Oswego; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. As per Brenda’s wishes, there are no calling hours or services.
