Blanche I. Crandall

Blanche Irene (Rawson) Crandall, 63, beloved wife to William and mother to Michael and Howard, of Hannibal, NY, passed away after a prolonged illness on May 11, 2024, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

She was born January 19, 1961, in Fulton, NY to Francis and Dora Rose Rawson. Blanche attended John C. Birdlebough High School in Phoenix, NY graduating in 1979.  Blanche was a long-time employee of Nestles Company and Walmart, both in Fulton, NY.

Blanche is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, William Crandall of Hannibal, NY, sons Michael Cummings of Hannibal, NY and Howard Brown (Alicia) also of Hannibal, NY; grandchildren Devlin and Annabella Cummings, Sophie MacDonald-Brown, and Ryleigh and Noah Brown; sisters Doreen Fuller of Sun City West, AZ, Frances (Ed) Frost of Phoenix, NY and Deborah Johnson of Sun City West, AZ, many cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews as well as her fur babies Penney, Lucifer and Bella.  Blanche was preceded in death by her parents, Fran and Rose Rawson and in-laws William and Dorothy Crandall, as well as countless other loved ones.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, at the American Legion, 226 Rochester Street, Hannibal, NY 13074. Family and friends are invited to come and share fond memories and stories.
