Beverly J. Pettit, 87, of Palermo, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. Born in Fulton, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Theresa (Cavelier) Corliss. Mrs. Pettit has resided her whole life in Palermo. She was a member of the Palermo United Methodist Church. Beverly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Pettit and her son, Charles E. Pettit, Jr.

Surviving are her two daughters, Suzanne (Robert) Borden and Debra (Leonard) Mullen both of Oswego; two sons, Thomas (Missy) Pettit of Florida and James (Shannon) Pettit of Palermo; a sister, Virginia Congdon of Oswego; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be from 11-1pm on Monday, August 12th at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, with a service to immediately follow at 1pm. Burial will be in Upson Corners Cemetery, Palermo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Palermo United Methodist Church, 11 County Route 35, Fulton, NY 13069.
