Obituary of Beverly A. McKalsen July 31, 2014 Beverly A. McKalsen, 87, of Granby, passed away early Thursday morning at home with her family by her side. She was born Yakima, Washington and resided in Granby since 1976. Bev retired in 1990 from Plainville Turkey Farms where she worked for many years. She was a lifelong avid reader. Beverly was predeceased by three brothers, Raymond Tieden, Darrell Blake and Elliot Blake. She is survived by three sons, Stuart (Gracie) Blake of Hacienda Heights, CA, Kevin (Dee) Blake of Los Angeles, CA and Dan (Paula) McKalsen of Granby; sister-in-law, Maryann Blake of Granby; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours are 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 with services to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. Burial will be in Jacksonville Cemetery, Lysander.
