Bette Besaw Dunham

Obituary of Bette Besaw Dunham January 22, 2016 Bette Besaw Dunham, of Fulton, passed away on Friday, January 22 at Morningstar Care Center in Oswego. A native of Fulton, she was a life resident. Bette retired from Nestle Company in Fulton as a supervising manager after over 35 years with the company. She was an active member of All Saints Episcopal Church, its vestry and altar guilds. She was also a member and past matron of Elizabeth Chapter #105, Order of the Eastern Star in Fulton and the Red Hat Society. Bette served as a commissioner for the town of Granby and a volunteer for the A. L. Lee Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and Lanigan Elementary School. Bette was predeceased by her husband, William C. Dunham in 1975, brother, Robert Besaw and sisters, Ellen Hawley and Marjorie Norvell. Surviving are her sister Barbara Blake of Fulton and sister, Patricia Loomis of Oswego and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, January 30 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with services immediately following a 1 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.
