Bette A. Macdougall

We are sad to announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Bette A. (Ellison) MacDougall, age 89, on Monday, January 23, 2023. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert J. MacDougall, and a brother, William Ellison.

Bette is survived by her son, Michael J. (Debora George) MacDougall, of Fulton, NY; daughter, Michelle MacDougall of Fulton, NY; two granddaughters, Vanessa MacDougall of Marcellus, NY and Briana MacDougall of Dallas, TX.

She worked at General Electric for many years, even though she loved what she did, Bette left GE to spend more time with her children. Later, Bette worked in her husband’s business, Robert J. MacDougall Agency, Inc., where she worked and maintained an agent’s license until she passed.

Bette was a great cook; she enjoyed cooking large meals for family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family; our favorite memories were at camp on Lake Ontario. Bette will be dearly missed and forever loved by her family and friends.
