Obituary of Barbara Willard June 29, 2016 Barbara Jean Perkins Willard, 86, of Fulton, died June 29, 2016 at St. Luke’s Nursing Home in Oswego, NY. Barbara was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Harold “Apple” George Willard, who passed away on September 11, 2011 and her parents, Howard and Ella Perkins of Hannibal, NY. Barbara graduated from Hannibal Central School, attended Rochester Business Institute and was employed by the Nestles Company until she became a mother. Barbara lived most of her life in Hannibal where she was a member of the Hannibal Methodist Church and served on the Hannibal Central School Board of Education, the Hannibal Free Library Board and the Hannibal and Oswego County Historical Societies. Barbara was a friend to all, a caregiver to many and very active in her community. She loved to sing, vacation in Myrtle Beach, and spend time with her family. Barbara was a decorative painter, an avid antique collector and a lover of garage sales. She is survived by her children, Krysa (James) Heckathorne of Baldwinsville; Korey (Bonnie) Willard of Virgil; Kerrilee (Gary) Paricio of Columbus, TX; Kasey Willard of Fulton and Kadi (John) Edgerton of Bonn, NC; grandchildren, Christopher (Sharon) Heckathorne, Sean (Jessica Liu) Heckathorne and Tyler Willard and great-grandchild, Aaron Heckathorne. Calling hours are Tuesday, July 5 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. The funeral service will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G.
