Barbara Jean Babcock

Barbara Jean Babcock “Mam-ma”, 88, of Oswego, NY, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Crouse Hospital of natural causes. Born in Rome, NY, she was a life resident of the Oswego County area. Barbara enjoyed playing BINGO and loved bringing her kids and grandkids to her BINGO games. She will always be remembered for being everybody’s “Mam-ma.” Barbara was predeceased by her lifelong partner, Raymond Beach; her two children, Brian Babcock and Ramona Sanderson; and four siblings.

Surviving are her four children, Delia (Jody) Wells, Keith (Heather Brown-Beach) Beach, Adam (Bonnie) Babcock, Leonard Babcock and his wife; one daughter in-law, Amanda Babcock; one son in-law, Michael Sanderson; 27 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; seven siblings and several nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be from 12-1 pm on Wednesday, October 30 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with a service to follow at 1 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Fulton Polish Home, 153 W. 1st St. South, immediately following the service at 2:30 pm.
