Obituary of Arlynn K. Simmons August 18, 2016 Arlynn K. Simmons, 54, of Hannibal passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Syracuse VA Hospital. She was born on January 4, 1962, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, a daughter to Loyd Dail and Nora Penn. Arlynn was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. during 1980-1983. She was a basketball star at Sloan-Hendricks High School in Arkansas. Arlynn was predeceased by her mother, Nora Penn. She will be greatly missed and forever loved by her two sons, Thomas (Misty) Simmons of Hannibal and Marcus (Ashley) Simmons of Hannibal; three grandchildren, Daisey, Grayson and Walker; father, Loyd Dail; two brothers, Jim Dail and Mark Dail both of Arkansas as well as several nieces and nephews. A graveside service with full military honors will be held 2 p.m. on Monday, August 22 at Hannibal Village Cemetery, West St., Hannibal, 13074.
