Andrew M. Jones

Andrew Michael-Ray Jones, affectionately known as "Andy Pandy," passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at the age of 23. Born on April 23, 2001, in Syracuse, NY, Andy lived his entire life in Hannibal, NY.

Andy is survived by his loving parents, Michael E. Jones and Renee Dulin, both of Hannibal; his brothers, Michael E. Jones Jr. of Virginia and Alan "AJ" Jones of Hannibal; and his sister, Serena Perry of Hannibal. He was blessed with lifelong friends, whom he considered brothers, Scott Crego of North Carolina and Alex Stienburg of Hannibal. He is also survived by his grandmother, Carol Harris of Hannibal, and grandfather, Raymond Dulin of Byrdstown, TN. His extended family includes aunts Deborah Brett of Hannibal and Peggy Jones of Syracuse, and uncles Raymond Dulin (Lauri) of Hannibal, Alan Harris of Fulton, Ronnie Robertson of Syracuse, and James Williams of Syracuse, along with many cousins.

Andy was predeceased by his aunts, Judith Calkins and Deloris Jones, and his paternal grandmother, Earlene Jones.

Andy was a proud 2020 graduate of Hannibal High School, and had a passion for sports, particularly football, a devoted Green Bay Packers fan and basketball, a Milwaukee Bucks enthusiast. He enjoyed playing video games, collecting football and basketball cards with his brother, and spending time with family. He had a special bond with his lifelong dog, Stormie.

Andy bravely fought a long and hard battle with cancer and his family is eternally grateful to Strong Memorial Cancer/Infusion Center and Hope Lodge in Rochester for their compassionate care; they treated Andy like family. Andy will forever be remembered for his radiant smile, big heart, and as "Mommy's lil Andy Pandy."

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 12pm to 1pm with a funeral service celebrating Andy’s life to follow at 1pm at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street, Hannibal, NY.
