Obituary of Alice White Coakley January 6, 2016 Alice White Coakley, 101, of Fulton, passed away on Wednesday, January 6 at Seneca Hill Manor in Oswego. A native of Volney, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Hazel Ives White. Alice was a member of State Street United Methodist Church in Fulton and had been active in church organizations and kitchen activities. She was also a member of the Fulton Women’s Club. Alice was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother who was loved by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, John Coakley in 2003 and daughter, Jean Coakley Pierce in 2004. Surviving are her sons, Edward (Linda) and James (June) Coakley and son-in-law, Albert (Nancy) Pierce; 12 grandchildren, Edward (Cory), Jeff (Gretchen) and Robert (Angela) Coakley, Tara Cary (Matt) Kucharski, Brett (Robin) Cary, Mitch (Jennifer) Cary, Carrie Coakley (Don) McPherson, John (Tessa) Coakley, Michele (Brad) Whitman, Lynn Naramor, Kip (Rose) Pierce and Heidi Pierce (Allen) Agnew; 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Calling hours are 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Wednesday, January 13 with services to follow at 12 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 910 Fay Street in Fulton. Memorial contributions may be made to State Street United Methodist Church, 357 State Street, Fulton, NY 13069.
