Obituary of Alan Duke Daghita May 13, 2014 Alan Duke Daghita, 39, of Hannibal, passed away Tuesday at home in the presence of his loving family. He was born in Ithaca and lived most of his life in Hannibal. Alan attended Hannibal Schools and worked for Bauer Hockey in Liverpool for several years. He loved to take long walks and go fishing. Alan is survived by two sons, Michael Daghita of Hannibal and Bradley Daghita of Rome; his mother and step father, Beverly Daghita and Don Taylor of Hannibal; his father, Albert Daghita of Ithaca; one sister, Regina Margrey of New Haven; four brothers, Michael (Melanie) Daghita of Trumansburg, Dean (Linda) Daghita of Haymarket, VA, David (Jenny) Daghita of Australia and Ronald (Kim) Daghita of Kirkwood, NY; a close friend, Mark Digregorio as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Alan’s family wishes to thank the staff at Oswego County Hospice for the excellent care provided to Alan during his illness. Calling hours are 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17 with services to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal. Burial will be in Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Hannibal.
