Kathy, Dick and I offer our deepest sympathy and love to you and your family. You have been so loving through this time and we know your mother was cared for well. Be well and peaceful knowing you cared. Love to you and David.
Our sincerest sympathy for the loss of Aunt Ethel. I have such fond memories of the Christmas movies of the Hafner/Hellems Christmases! Certainly brings a smile to my face.
My summer at the farm is something I will always cherish as a loving memory and a great learning experience.
I will always remember Aunt Ethel shopping trips and the closet of all her bargains that would show up one day possibly years later for use!
Also, Bob recalls with fondest a day (approx. 38 years ago) a visit to Baldwinsville, where he threw his back out and she came to the rescue with a back massage, which he talks about to this day!
With heartfelt condolences to you Karl, David ,Kathy and family. I'm sure if there was a bucket list she had fulfilled it through her energy, determination and her love for her family

Our prayers and sympathy to all. It was bittersweet news to learn of Aunt Ethel's passing. Bitter that she is no longer with us in body but sweet knowing that she is at peace with the Lord. I have many fond memories of all the summers spent at the farm. Our Sabbath day trips and family time. I also enjoyed our many phone conversations. Aunt Ethel was a very kind and giving person. I will cherish all memories in my heart. Peace and Love , Michael & Charmaine
