Dorothy L. Sage, 62, of Volney, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Upstate University Hospital. She was born on May 6, 1955, in Oswego, a daughter to the late Emmett Abrams and Betty Eddy Moody. Dottie was predeceased by her husband, Paul “Wally” Sage, Sr. in 2009; son, Paul, Jr., in 1988; two sisters, Trudy Abrams and Elizabeth Parsons and one brother, Ray “Skip” Abrams.
She is survived by her three daughters, Kimberly Sage, Lori (Jeff Thompson) Sage and Becky (John) Richards; 12 grandchildren, Dakota (Dyamond), Kayla, Dallas, Kelsey, Austin, RJ, Alivia, Taylar, Adriana, Dylon, Tyler and Paul, III; one great-granddaughter, Mya; god-daughter, Jaime Blair; two brothers, Emmett “Rusty” (Liz) Abrams, Jr. and Murray Abrams; four sisters, Linda (Jerry) Parrow, Lorrie (Bill) Welsh, Terry (Mark) Poulin and Debbie Abrams as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Calling hours are Friday, October 6 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with a service immediately following at 2 p.m. Burial will be in North Volney Cemetery. For those wishing, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society in Dottie’s memory.
