Susan and I became friends during one of her many trips to her beloved Gettysburg. It was a friendship that I will always treasure. Her intellect, humor and her sense of adventure always created lasting memories of her visits. I will miss Susan so much.
I am so sad to hear of Susie’s passing. I have known her since I was 12 years old and we were junior bridesmaids in my sister Sharon’s wedding to Susie’s brother.
Susie was sweet, smart, generous, loyal and very independent.
She will be missed but I am happy she is now with her parents.
Many thanks to all of great friends who looked after her in her final weeks. It didn’t go unnoticed and is appreciated.
