Grover "Butch" Sweeting Grover “Butch” Sweeting, 52, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital from an unexpected illness after winning the battle against cancer. Born in Fulton, he was ason to Grover C. Sweeting, Sr. and Sheron Whitney. Butch enjoyed woodworking and video games. He was also an avid collector of dragon figurines. Butch will always be remembered for being such a caring and protective person. He is predeceased by his father; two uncles, Glenn and Art Whitney. Surviving are his wife, Sally (Chuck Morrelli, Jr.); mother, Sheron Burgess; two children, Alexia Sweeting and Laura (Eddie) Sweeney; five brothers, Jim (Michelle) Sweeting, David Sweeting, Bobby (Colleen) Burgess, Micheal Burgess and Scott Burgess; brother in-law, John (Becky Smith) Buskey; two sisters in law, Cindy Hicks and Anne (David) Daily; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be from 10-12 pm on Saturday, August 24 with a funeral service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. Burial will be in Ira Union Cemetery, CountyRoute128 (White Cemetery Rd), Cato.
