Charles F. BertolliniCharles F. Bertollini, 93, of Fulton, passed away Wednesday at St. Luke Residential Health Services in Oswego. A native of Lysander, Mr. Bertollini had resided in the Fulton-Granby area most of his life. He retired in 1989 from the Town of Granby Highway Department after 12 years and had previously worked at Columbia Mills in Minetto and the Sterling Co-Op in Sterling. Mr. Bertollini was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Fulton and the Cody Volunteer Fire Department where he had served as a district Fire Commissioner for ten years. He was predeceased by his son, Charles J. Bertollini in 1998 and by a grandson, Christopher Longo in 2002.
Mr. Bertollini is survived by his wife of 73 years, Anna Bertollini of Fulton; four daughters, Anne Marie Stevenson of Syracuse, Barbara (David) O’Bryan of Fulton, Patricia (Donald) Daniels of Jacks Reef and Brenda Longo of Fulton; three brothers, Lewis Bertollini, George Bertollini and Richard Bertollini; three sisters, Emma Lamson, Nancy Weston and Florence Fabrizo; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, February 8 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with services immediately following. Spring burial will be at Jacksonville Cemetery, Lysander. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cody Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 334, Fulton, NY 13069.
