Bruce E. Coons, 90, of Fulton, died Friday at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego. Bruce was a life resident of Fulton. He graduated from Syracuse University and retired from the Fulton City School District where he was an elementary school teacher for many years. Bruce was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II. He was an avid photographer and was active with the Fulton Art Guild. Bruce was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Janet B. Coons, who died July 31, 2009. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. Graveside services for Mr. & Mrs. Coons will be in the spring at Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton has care of arrangements.
