Jim,
So very sorry for your loss. I’m so very happy I got to meet your mom a few years back as she is truly a wonderful person. I see where you “got it from”. She seemed like she was a real outgoing person and had a love for life and her family. Godspeed “mama meatball” and may you be in our hearts forever.

Dear Ferlito Family,
We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our beloved Aunt Santa. She was a beautiful woman–a living example of motherly love and genuine hospitality.
When I think of Aunt Santa and Uncle Paul, I think of their long love for each other, and for their family. I think of that beautiful farm in southwest Oswego, and how they cultivated the earth and brought forth much fruit. I’m reminded of how the Spirit of God connects us to the earth, and to each other, and to Him.
God promises that all who believe in Him will receive eternal life. I find comfort in knowing that today Aunt Santa is with the Lord in Heaven, and that when our lives are finished and we, too, are called home, Aunt Santa will be there to receive us.
May God’s peace, which surpasses all understanding, be with you all.

Sorry, family. I had just read the obituary and had Uncle Paul on my mind when I wrote the message above. I meant Uncle Jim.
God bless you all.
