Paul A. Belfiore, 94, of Fulton, died Thursday at The Manor at Seneca Hill. A native of New York City, Paul had resided in Fulton since 1929. He retired in 1979 after ten years as a custodian with the Fulton Consolidated School District. He had owned and operated his own vegetable farm for many years. Paul was a communicant of The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Fulton. He was also a member of the Garden Club of Fulton, Mount Pleasant Grange, Oswego County Vegetable Growers and the Volney Senior Citizens. Paul was predeceased by a great grandson, Christopher Montgomery who died in 2000. Surviving: his wife of 66 years, Josephine T. Belfiore of Fulton; a son, Ross A. Belfiore of Fulton; two daughters, Grace M. (Leland) Briggs of Fulton and Pauline A. (Charles) Patnode of Oswego; two sisters, Santina Ferlito of North Carolina and Edna Mistretta of Syracuse; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. A calling hour will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday with a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Church, 309 Buffalo Street. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Attn: Memorial/Honor Program, One St. Jude Place Building, PO Box 1000, Department 300, Memphis, Tennessee, 38148.

K Wallace “Wally” Owen, Jr., 62, of Fulton formerly of South Butler died Wednesday at Oswego Hospital. Born in Syracuse, Wally was a native of the South Butler where his father had owned and operated Owen Funeral Home. Wally was very spiritual and memorized many scripture passages and found comfort in Psalm 100. Wally was also known for his great sense of humor. His favorite joke was, “What did the painter say to the wall?” With laughter he delivered the punch line; “one more crack like that and I will plaster you.” He was predeceased by his parents, K Wallace and Roberta Owen. Surviving: his brother, Dean Owen of Howard, Ohio. Memorial Services are 2 p.m. Sunday, March 25 at Michaud Nursing Home, 453 Park Street, Fulton. Private burial will be at South Butler Cemetery, South Butler. Foster Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Dennis E. Sullivan, 55 of Fulton, passed away Sunday at The Manor at Seneca Hill in Volney. Born in Fulton he was a life resident of the area. Dennis worked for Millis Trucking. He was an Army veteran serving from 1972-1975. He is survived by his children, Kimberlee, Elaine and Thomas; sisters, Diana, Carol; a brother, Mike; four grandchildren; two nieces and several cousins. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, E. Broadway, Fulton. There are no calling hours. Earl M. Stanley, 91, of Fulton passed away Friday at Oswego Hospital. A native of the Town of Henderson, Mr. Stanley had resided in Meridian much of his life. He retired in 1979 as a school bus driver for the North Syracuse School District. He had previously worked for Bond Bakery, Hathaway Bakery, Crucible Steel and Marcellus Casket Company, all in Syracuse. Mr. Stanley was a member of the Meridian Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving as Staff Sergeant of Company “I” 71st Infantry in the European Theater. Surviving are: wife of 63 years, Marie; a son, Ken (Cheryl) of Natick, MA; a brother, Harold; three grandsons, Jon (Amanda), Matthew (Deanna) and Michael; two great-grandchildren, Jon and Mia Stanley; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 1 at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Co. Rte. 3, Hannibal
