Olive B AllanOlive B. Allan, 96, of Fulton, died Tuesday at The Terrace of Woodlands in Rome. Born and raised in Fulton, Olive enjoyed residence in multiple locales including Syracuse, Maine, California and Quebec until she and her husband returned to Fulton following his retirement. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton. Olive was a volunteer at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton where she was also a member of the hospital auxiliary. Olive was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband, John H. Allan, who died in 1992; sisters, Helen Currier, Ruth Allard and Victoria Carpenter; brothers, Frank and Andrew Black. Surviving: daughter, Cynthia L. (Armen) Roubian of Rome; sons, Michael J. (Kathy) Allan of Watertown and Jon A. (Mary) Allan of Burke, VA; three granddaughters, Julie Allan of Charleston, SC, Susan Roubian of Salt Lake City, UT and Cheryl Roubian of New York City; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services are 10 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church, 1408 State Route 176, Fulton. Burial will be at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. Shirley M. IannettoneShirley M. Iannettone, 82, of Fulton, died Tuesday at Oswego Hospital.  A native of Auburn, she had resided in the Hannibal and Fulton areas most of her life.  Shirley retired as a supervisor at Nestle Company in Fulton after 23 years.  She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Hannibal where she was a lector and Eucharistic Minister and most recently attended Holy Trinity Church in Fulton.  Shirley was a volunteer at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital and the Red Cross Blood Bank.  She was also a member of the Cato Senior Citizens.
Shirley was predeceased by he husband, Lodovico “Ego” Iannettone and a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Roland Nivison.  Surviving are her children, MaryLynn (William) West of Brewerton, Joan (Joseph) Konen of Davidson, NC and Alan Cole of St. Petersburg, FL; six grandchildren, Steven Nivison, Susan Nivison, Lauren Konen-Moore, Michael Konen, Christina West and Justin Cole.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Friday, October 2nd at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (formerly The Church of the Immaculate Conception), corner of South Third and Rochester Streets, Fulton with burial at Hannibal Village Cemetery, Hannibal.  Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 1st at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons Street, P.O. Clark, 34, of Fulton, died September 20, 2009.  He worked for Lights Tower Construction in Myerstown, PA.  Roy enjoyed camping and collecting skulls.  He is survived by his mother, Rose M. Clark of Phoenix; his father, Clifford R. Clark of Freeport, IL; sister, Ann M. Chafin of Riverview, FL; brother, Michael J. Donald J. Hall, IIDonald J. Hall, II, 29, of Fulton, died September 20, 2009.  Born in Oswego, he was a life resident of Fulton.  Donald graduated from G. Ray Bodley High School in 1998.  He was an Army Veteran of the Iraq War serving two tours of duty.  Donald was currently active with the Army Reserves 444th Engineer Company in Oswego. He worked at Novelis. Donald enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family and friends.  He was predeceased by his father, Donald J. Hall; a niece, Ashley Nicole Maynes and nephews, Joshua and Donald Vanderhaden.  Surviving are his mother, Hazel E. Hall of Fulton; three sisters, Jennifer L. Hall, Laura L. Hall and Holly M. Hall all of Fulton; one half-brother, Jerome A. Miner of Fulton; two nephews, Matthew J. Hall and Zachary A. Vanderhaden.  Calling hours are 12 noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 30th at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with a 2 p.m. service to follow.  Burial with military honors will be at Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Daniel Bryant “Dan” PhillipsDaniel Bryant “Dan” Phillips, 48, of Rockledge, FL, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2009 at his residence after an 11 month battle with a rare form of renal carcinoma. Born in Fulton, he attended Purdue University, where he lettered in lacrosse.  Dan was Director of Environmental Services with SpecPro, where he oversaw all aspects of the environmental program for Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Surviving: his wife of 21 years, Diane; a daughter, Kristin; two sons, Bryant and Kyle, all of Rockledge, FL; mother, Helen (Richard) Sheldon of Fulton; father, Lawrence (Patricia) Phillips, Sr. of Fulton; sisters, Nancy (Jeffery) Roth of Port Byron, Patricia (James) Hanlon of Fulton, Donna (James) Egan of Liverpool and Susan (William) Beckwith of Fulton; brothers, Lawrence (Kelly) Phillips, Jr. and Randall (Martha) Phillips all of Fulton and several nieces and nephews. A prayer service will be held 9 a.m. Saturday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton  with  a  9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (formerly The Church of the Immaculate Conception), corner of Rochester and South Third Streets, Fulton. Michael David Friot, 57, of Fulton, made the journey home to be with the Lord on the morning of Saturday, September 19, 2009 at University Hospital in Syracuse. Born in Syracuse, he was a life resident of the Fulton area. Michael retired from Huhtamaki Company in Fulton. He had attended Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. Michael was a member of the Granby Center United Methodist Church and was a long time Boy Scout Master of Troop 722 in Granby Center. He was a member of the Fulton Lions Club. Michael was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Barbara Friot. Surviving: his wife of 34 years, the former Anita M. Cotton; a son, U.S. Army PFC Joshua M. Friot, proudly serving his country in Iraq; siblings, Roy (Karen) Friot, Penny Kemp and Theresa (Bradley) Blakeman; many nieces and nephews. Jessie T. HornJessie T. Horn, 97, of Hannibal, died Friday at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego.  A native of Hannibal, she had resided in the Martville-Cato area most of her life before moving back to Hannibal in 1988.  Mrs. Horn had worked at Comstock Foods in Red Creek, Sealright Company in Fulton and Schuyler Potato Chip Company in Cato.  She had also worked with her husband raising and training Appaloosa horses.  She was the founder of the Bill Hart Corral Horse Club.  Mrs. Horn was predeceased by her husband, Winfield B. Horn, Sr., who died in 1992 and a son, Winfield B. Horn, Jr., who died in 2003.  Surviving: a son, Leroy “Ace”A. (Dorothy Pople) Horn of Hannibal; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Calling hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday with a 2 p.m. service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.  Burial will be at Hannibal Center Cemetery.

Yager Roth, 72, of Fulton, died Sunday at Oswego Hospital after a brief illness.  She was a life resident of the Fulton area.  Carol retired after over 25 years at Nestle Company.  She attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Fulton.  Carol enjoyed playing piano and being with her family.
Surviving are her husband of 35 years, David E. Roth of Fulton; her children, Theresa (David) Vescio, Chris (Dennis) Spiegel, Karen (Alan) Bennett, Melissa (Steven) Crandell and Michael (Stuart Thompson) Loosen; step-children, Susan (Larry) Stowell, Arlene (John) Loughrey, Alan (Bonnie) Roth, George (Elizabeth) Roth and Darren (Brenda) Roth; 20 Grandchildren; 13 Great-grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Donald (Bettie) Yager, Enid Wahl, Thomas (Mary) Yager, Kathleen Hayes, Gary (Rosemary) Yager, Roger (Ann) Yager and Gordon Yager and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her step-son, David “Rusty” Roth, parents, Gordon and Carol Yager and sister, Virginia Dumont.
Services are    1 p.m. Thursday at Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 1044 State Route 48, Fulton with burial at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.  Calling hours are 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.  Contributions may be made to a favorite charity.

Lewis, BonnieBonnie Lewis, 61, of Hannibal Center, passed away September 13, surrounded by family and friends after a short battle with cancer. She worked as a substitute teaching assistant at Hannibal Central School, and was a Mary Kay consultant. Bonnie was an active member in the Hannibal Center United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and doing the Lords work. She was predeceased by her father, Carlton Axtell, a brother, Keith and a granddaughter, Angel Rose Lewis.  Bonnie is survived by her husband of 40 years, Edward Lewis; her three sons, Daniel of Montgomery, TX, Robert of Jacksonville, FL, and Jeremy (Samantha)  of Fulton; her mother, Faye Axtell; three brothers, George (Dale), Dave and Sam (Heather) Axtell, sister-in-law, Rita Baack; three grandsons and several nephews and nieces. A Celebration of Life will be 10 a.m. Thursday, September 17 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 923 Cayuga St., Hannibal. Ruth P. SixberryRuth Pauline “Tootie” Stanford Sixberry, 72, of Watertown, died September 12, 2009, of lung disease at Samaritan Keep Home where she resided the last 17 years.
Ruth was born in Watertown on July 26, 1937, to the late Ethel Fenlong and Earl Stanford and attended Lafargeville Central Schools. She was a homemaker who loved Elvis, dancing, singing, cooking, going to church, helping others and being with friends and family.  She was confined to a wheelchair for 18 years due to brain surgery and a stroke.
Ruth married Homer E. Sixberry, Sr. on October 26, 1968, in Volney and was predeceased by him on January 10, 1978.  She was also predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are five children: Elizabeth (Kevin) Magovney of Adams, Homer (Brenda) Sixberry, Jr. of North Volney, David Sixberry of North Volney, Dorothia (Jack) Bennette of Whiteville, NC, Ruthia (John) Cornish of Fulton; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren with another great-grandchild due in December; three sisters, Helen Robinson of Syracuse, Deanna Evans of Rosenburg, TX, Kay Mack of Black River; two brothers, Edward Stanford of Williamsport, PA and Ambrose Stanford of Sunrise, FL; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, 837 State Route 48, Fulton with burial at North Volney Cemetery.  Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family c/o Ruthia Cornish, 505 Rathburn Road, Fulton, 13069.
