Pearl E. McIntyre, 88, of Fair Haven, died Wednesday at Oswego Hospital. Born in Gaffney, South Carolina she was a resident of Fair Haven since 1945. She previously worked at General Electric in Liverpool and Auburn. Pearl and her late husband were known in the Fair Haven area for owning and operating McIntyre’s Trailer Court. She was a member of the Sterling Christian Church, Fair Haven American Legion Auxiliary and the Fair Haven Order of the Eastern Star. Pearl was predeceased by her husband, George E. McIntyre, who died in 2006; parents, John and Minnie Henderson; brothers, Horace, Fletcher, Ray and Gene Henderson; sisters, Irene Miller and Ocie Mathis. Surviving: four sons, Marshall (Kimberly) McIntyre of Sterling, Kenneth (Dona) McIntyre of Baldwinsville, George (Carole) McIntyre of Zephyrhills, FL and William (Peggy) McIntyre of Fair Haven; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Virginia Harmon, Nellie Horn and Rose Bridges; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours are Sunday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a 2 p.m. service immediately following at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street, Hannibal. Burial will be at Springbrook Cemetery in Sterling.
