Clyde M. Creighton, Sr. 96, of Fulton passed away Monday at University Hospital. Born in Oswego, he was a long time resident of Fulton. Clyde retired in 1978 from Nestle Co., Fulton after more than 40 years. He was a member of the Fulton Elks and an avid golfer. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, the former Kathryn Schwitter; three children, Clyde Jr. (Marilyn) of Florida, Beverly (Harry) Isbell of Oswego and Harry (Charmaine) Creighton of Pennellville; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter. A calling hour will be 11 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday with a service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. Contributions in memory of Clyde, may be made to Mt. Doris M. Roy

Doris M. Roy, 95, of Geneva and formerly of Fulton, passed away Tuesday at Geneva General Hospital. Born in Norwich, she was a long time resident of Fulton. Doris retired in 1986 as an Account Clerk from Oswego County. She had also worked at Sealright and Black Clawson. She was an accomplished pianist and a devoted member of the First United Church of Fulton. Doris was past president of the Fulton Senior Citizens and sang in the Fulton Senior Chorus. She was predeceased by her husband, George H. Roy, who passed away in 1984 and brother, Curtis Palmer and a great-granddaughter, Deborah Sue Elizabeth Davis. She is survived by her children, George Roy, James (Dell) Roy, Carol (Don) Andrus, Marion (G. Alton) McDeid, William (Veda) Roy; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton. Burial will be at Mt. Adnah Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. Contributions may be made to First United Church of Fulton, 33 So. Third St., Fulton, NY 13069.

Lina B. Stevens, 80 of Volney, died Monday at Seneca Hill Manor in Oswego. A native of Fulton, she was a life resident of the Volney area. Lina was on the town of Volney board of elections for many years. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church and Mt. Pleasant Senowen Club.

Surviving are her husband of 62 years, William Stevens of Volney; sons, Mark Stevens of Volney, Wesley (Mary) Stevens of Oswego and Scott Stevens of Columbus, OH; former daughter-in-law, Valerie Stevens of Volney; five grandchildren, Heather Colline, Christopher, Matthew, Joel and Josh Stevens; a great-grandchild, Chloe Colline; a brother, Arnold Lathrop of Fulton; nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 2819 County Route 45, Fulton with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. The family requests memorial contributions to be made to Mt. Coraline “Connie” Crisafulli

Coraline “Connie” Crisafulli of Fulton passed away Monday at The Manor at Seneca Hill. Born in Quaker Street, NY, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Bertha Fuller Bradt. She had attended Delanson High School. Connie had worked as a data processor at G.E. in Schenectady and at Sealright and Black Clawson in Fulton. She had also volunteered at Lee Memorial Hospital and at one time was a nurse’s aide. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Delanson. Connie was predeceased by her sister and brother in law, Neola and George Stewart and by her husband, Charles Crisafulli. She is survived by her children, Donna (Jim) Bathie of Baldwinsville and Deborah (Mike) Famularo of Fulton; four grandchildren, Darlene (Stanley) Wegzyn, Janet (Mark) Woodworth, James (Katie) Bathie III and John R. Ryan; six great-grandchildren, Tanner and Chase Wegzyn, Nicholas, Mitchell and Matthew Woodworth and Keira Bathie; many cousins and friends. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at. Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.

 

Ronald J. Finke

Ronald J. Finke, 66 formerly of Clay, passed away Sunday surrounded by his family at his daughter’s home in Oswego. Born in Madison, IN he had lived in Central New York since 1970. Ron had graduated Magna Cum Laude from Purdue University and M.I.T. Ron was employed at a Senior Systems Engineer at Sensis Corp. in E. Syracuse. He had also worked as Lockheed Martin and General Electric. Ron enjoyed spending time outdoors and time with his grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father, Robert Finke, who passed away in 1987. He is survived by his children, Tracy (Terry Solazzo) Hardter of Oswego and Christopher (Katherine) Finke of Brewerton; his mother, Verna Finke of Madison, IN; siblings, Shirley Burress, Barbara (George) Hill, Deb Spry, Joe (Jeanne) Finke; five grandchildren, Noah, Connor, Brayden, Brianna and Ethan; step-children; Karl and Adi; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. with a service to immediately follow at 7 p.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. Burial will be in Madison, IN. Nellie B. Runions

Nellie B. Runions, 94, of Palermo passed away Saturday at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego. A native of Marcellus, Mrs. Runions had resided in Palermo most of her life. She retired in 1982 as manager of the cafeteria at the Palermo Elementary School after 26 years. Mrs. Runions was a member of the Palermo United Methodist Church in Palermo. She was a member of Palermo Grange for 80 years. She was a past noble grand of Ne-Ha-Sa-Ne Rebekah Lodge #269 in Fulton. Mrs. Runions was also a member of the Palermo Senior Citizens. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Erwin I. Runions, who died in 1996. Surviving are: two daughters, Calista M. (William) Rurey of Port Richey, Florida and Darlene R. (Richard) Flint of Central Square; a son, Douglas E. (Carol) Runions of Palermo; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; eight great, great grandchildren. There will be no services or calling hours. Burial will be in Vermillion Cemetery, New Haven. Floyd A. McGraw, 94 of Fulton, died Wednesday at University Hospital in Syracuse after a brief illness. A native of Adams, he had resided in Fulton most of his life. Floyd retired from Sealright Company in Fulton after 42 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton.

Floyd was predeceased by his wife, Norma Smith McGraw, in 1999. Surviving are his son, John D. (Mary Jane) McGraw of Fulton; daughter, Jill M. (Scott) Reid of South Plainfield, NJ; four grandchildren, John (Sarah) McGraw, Maria (Chris) Caza, Michele (Keith) Gilbert and Justin Reid; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, John McGraw of Fulton and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church, 1408 Route 176, Fulton with Rev. Mark Kimpland officiating. There are no calling hours. The family requests contributions are made to the Educational Memorial Fund at First United Methodist Church, 1408 Route 176, Fulton, NY 13069. Bernard P. Hammond, Sr., 83, of Fulton, passed away Tuesday at home after a long illness. He retired from Armstrong World Industries in Volney. Bernie was a Navy veteran of World War II and was an avid hunter. He is survived by fiancé, Charlene Neyhart; sons, Mike (Gail), John and Bernie; daughters, Cecil and Amy (Clay); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Michael A. Ferlito, 77 of Oswego, died Monday at University Hospital in Syracuse. A native of Fulton, he had resided in the Oswego – Hannibal area most of his life. Michael had owned and operated Triple F Farms in Oswego and was a co-owner of Oswego Growers and Shippers. He was a former: president of the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County; board member of the Oswego County Vegetable Growers Improvement Association; board member of the Hannibal Central School District and president of the Hannibal P.T.A. Michael enjoyed playing softball and bowling and had coached the youth baseball league in Hannibal. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Hannibal.

Michael was predeceased by his parents, James and Santina (Belfiore) Ferlito; a son-in-law, Ronald Roessner and daughter-in-law, Deborah (Scott) Ferlito. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Joyce (Scott) Ferlito of Oswego; their eight children, Janeen Roessner of Hannibal, Thomas (Robin) Ferlito of Ellisburg, Marie (Jeffrey) Zufelt of Lancaster, PA, Dennis (Karen) Ferlito of Geneva, Mark (Deborah) Ferlito of Oswego, Tina (Joseph) Abraham of Phoenix, Matthew (Tracy) Ferlito of Wynantskill and Timothy (Sarah) Ferlito of Syracuse; two brothers, Ross (Malva) Ferlito of Hamilton and James Ferlito Jr. of Cary, NC; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; an aunt; a niece; two nephews and several cousins.

Services will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 923 Cayuga Street, Hannibal with burial at Hannibal Village Cemetery. Lilla Watkins, 95, of Fulton, died Saturday at The Manor at Seneca Hill in Volney. Born in Guyton, GA she resided in Fulton since 1960. Lilla was a Home Health Aide. She was a member of the River of Life Assembly of God Church in Fulton. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Lilla had raised Sophia Watkins of New York City and Wanzo Wallace of Atlanta, GA. She was predeceased by her husband, Evander Watkins who died in 1983, a daughter, Elsie Hines who died in 2001 and by a brother, Wanzo Wallace who died in 1995. Surviving: her daughters, Lois Smith of Baldwinsville and Wanda Watkins of Fulton; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be held Friday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon with services to immediately follow at the River of Life Assembly of God Church, 815 Oneida Street, Fulton.
